Lightbulb Tip about YO-YOS for owners of FISKARS FUSE CREATIVITY SYSTEM

Tip about YO-YOS for owners of FISKARS FUSE C SYSTEM
Hi fellows quilters,
I bought a FFCS a month ago and it works fantastic with sizzix dies, I don't try it yet with GO! dies but i'm thinking about the log cabin one....
Well, the point is that the fiskars die that comes with the machine is a 4 inch circle with scalloped border. I dismissed it totally, and few days ago I'd got a lightbulb moment -LOL- when googling about yo-yo quilts!
Ladies, The fiskars circle die cut 10 layers of fabric easily and the circles fit perfectly in the CLOVER YO-YO MAKER size large (the orange one), so I'm a happy camper with a big box of yo-yos (2" finished) done while watching TV. I don't know what I'm going to do whith them ....yet

I hope this helps someone!
happy quilting.
Marta

Cute yo yos! It certainly looks easier than hand cutting circles.

Hmmm. Yes I have that yoyo maker and have been using my GO die to cut circles....haven't done in a long time, but if I remember the circles I cut are larger and need trimming....your die looks perfect.....may look into that little toy....does JF sell it?

Wow! How amazing. Send them to me. I'll put them to use. lol.

Seriously, though, besides making a yo-yo quilt, you could use them at the junction of sashing on a quilt. I did that with floral yo-yo's (much harder to make!) on a baby quilt & they looked super cute!

I also have seen people who sell them on eBay. Might be an idea. I like your colors better than most of those that are currently listed.
