    It's a child's toy/machine. Mine works, not well, but it can sew a seam. I think mine takes batteries, I'd have to look.

    I believe so. That looks like the one I had in the 50's as a child. I was given some space to set it up in Grandma's sewing room. I was pretty sure I had arrived!!

    I have several toy/children old sewing machines. I love the looks of them. I love vintage, and I have them on display. I have a couple on a wall shelf in the guestroom, and a few on shelves in our great room.

    I have some toys and I love them. I don't use them, just love them. I have one that's hand crank and it's only about 6" long. It actually sews.
