A co-worker offered me a free "toy" machine today. She is bringing it tomorrow. "Comes in a box", she says, (my mind jumps to featherweight; I say, "a black box?" No, green and white. About then I am ready to jump out of my skin:) I told her I don't think it is a toy, maybe a featherweight. She insists its a toy; I am hoping it's a white featherweight. Can't wait for the morning.... Update and hopfully pictures :)

I'll bet this is what it is. I got this from my sister. It is a toy, but it sews, kinda like the sewing machine equivalent of an Easy Bake Oven. The actual machine is about 8 inches high and 12 inches long.

    she said from the 50's.
I will find out this morning, so excited.

It may be a toy and that will be OK, I have one from my MIL.
I won't be home from work until 10pm, but I will post then.

It is a toy, but so cute:)
Sorry I do not have a picture at this time. It is on display at the crafting studio I work at. Has it's own shelf and I will bring in the one from my MIL on Saturday. I will take a picture then of the two of them.

It is singer, with a turn wheel and the box has an inside that folds down like it is set into a little table (the box).
The repair guy was in and said he has never seen one with the box in 40 years.
