If you don't need a big one, there are apps that turn your iPad into a light box. "Illuminator Viewer" is one.Someone else mentioned "Lightbox" that works on a Kindle Fire or an iPad
I haven't tried them yet, but I am doing a new Craftsy class (on machine fusible appliqué) and they were mentioned in one of the questions.
