Hey Dande413, maybe try using corset stays sewn into the sides to get it to stand up.
quilterj, I made trash bags for the cars of my quilting buddies last year for Christmas and they often refer to how much they use them and how glad they are I made them. And my husband wanted one for him too. So go for it as I'm sure it will be appreciated.

I have an idea. I am using cotton fabric lined with cotton and interfacing. But then what about also sew vinyl in it. This way it won't have to put a plastic bag in it or get it wet. What do you think? Do you think that using the vinyl I
could get away with out using the interfacing?
