I'd like to make a quilt with roses. Do you have any pattern ideas, books, or websites that would help me with my search.

I really couldn't find much. I'm thinking applique is what you are going to need to do unless you find a paper-pieced pattern

I made this one using a picture from a coloring book and increase the size of it.

The rose of sharon is more of a heart pattern, I'd like somehting a little different.

I did this paper pieced rose pattern from Rebecca Ruth Designs. It makes a table topper but you could add more blocks to it I think.

I saw sort of a rose pattern on Fons and Porter today. It was applique - one large template and one smaller template. The templates were hand drawn with very soft curves, nothing pointy, and the center of it was a yoyo. Looked very nice. I think it was in their 1500 or 1600 tv series. Pattern was by Renee (last names escapes me). Looked very easy to do.
