Use the darkest color in the quilt.

Since your mom chose blue and white I would pick either the medium or dark blue. Love the quilt. Mom will be proud whatever color you decide yo use.

I would go with one of the blues that you have used. Red might pull attention away from the wonderful center.

Since Mom chose blue & white, I'd stick with a darker blue. As was posted earlier, you could go with a blue/white paisley.

Thank you everyone! It seems that dark blue is the majority and my daughter, who has an eye for color, agrees so I think I'm going to go with dark blue.

When I cannot decide how to border or bind I lay the quilt where I will see it frequently throughout the day. I put the colors/materials I am considering under the edges of the quilt and I look at it for a few days. I change up the combinations and remove or add until I am satisfied and it feels right.

What a lovely quilt, so easy on the eyes, nothing glaring about it. I'd use the darker blue or another of the darker solid colors you have in the quilt. I'd choose a color that complements the overall tumblers, a color that blends in with it all. What a wonderful gift you've created. Blessings, Angela
