OH MY, I have not gotten a catalog from them in YEARS. Never thought about them having a great website. Found the insul-bright cheaper than at JoAnn's that I just bought yesterday with a coupon.

bought coordinating colors & machine appliqued snowflakes on 10"squares, added a 3" border around panel, appliqued her name in 2" letters on that, added 10" snowflake squares, added enough border around entire quilt to make 70"x 90", turned out really cute, now to get it quilted. Only have 6 more to make before Christmas, oh, & I quilt them myself. (Foolish person, I know) (bought the snowflake patterns (3) online from ScrapendipityDesign.com for $2.50, downloaded them, traced them & was in business same day) .

I love the idea of surrounding the panel with snowflakes blocks. I would personally frame the panel with a small border and then add lots of scrappy snowflakes all around. It would be fun to use a variety of blocks, maybe even some applique medallions. Have fun!

My avatar is a panel with a pieced border, you could do something like that and add another two borders. The squares are 2.5inch squares

So,I have 3 to finish for Christmas. Here is what the first two look like. I don't think it is quite long enough for a twin so I will add a couple of rows of pinwheels top and bottom.
