These quilts are for the 4th and 5th grandchildren of DH's Navy roommie on the USS Hancock. They were Naval Aviators. His wife and I share the same birthday. We've been friends forever - and for years they thought they'd never have grandchildren, and shared ours vicariously! Now they've caught up! Jason and Galen were born Oct 1, 2008. The sailboat on a lake them is because they live by Lake Tahoe in CA.

Love your theme quilts. They are beautiful. Those are a couple of lucky kids. Are those original patterns? They are great!
