These quilts are for the 4th and 5th grandchildren of DH's Navy roommie on the USS Hancock. They were Naval Aviators. His wife and I share the same birthday. We've been friends forever - and for years they thought they'd never have grandchildren, and shared ours vicariously! Now they've caught up! Jason and Galen were born Oct 1, 2008.
