For those quilters out there that are teachers or home school educators you can go to the Jo-Ann fabrics site and sign up for a reward card and you will get 15% off everything you buy, including sale and clearance items. I used mine for the first time today and all I had to activate the card was show my NEA/MEA card. It was very simple.

The following site should take you to the page to sign up.

It's a good discount because you can use it on sale, coupon or regular items. I just retired this year and I miss that little card.

Have the card, love the card. In Tucson, we also have a Tucson Values Teachers club where there are discounts for all sorts of places in town. I only know the food ones, since I'm a foody, but there's shopping, car places, etc. I always carry my ID and ask if they do teacher discounts.

I'm a homeschooler so I'm also eligible. I have a homeschool educator's id card so I need to take that in and apply. When I mentioned it (asked about it) the lady working there didn't look happy. I have no idea why. However, when I had one before, they would quiz me every time I tried to use it about where and how I would be using the items I bought. They claimed it had to be used for my classes. Someone here posted that it was not the case so I may have to argue a bit (something I'm pretty good at).
