Viking Dealer in Joanns
#14
No - they are a NBD ( or new business development ) and are owned by Viking/Pfaff. Now that they sell Singers they may sell the singers at comparable prices and may match sale prices but when I worked in one, we did not / could not accept the %off coupons that JoAnns prints.
If you are are negotiating on a machine - always ask - "Is this your best price - Oh that is too much". Once you get them down as far as they are willing to go - ask " What else can you include - feet, thread, CDs??". Depending on how desperate they are to sell a machine (they do have quotas of a sort) you may be surprised!!

I wish you luck, the dealer in my local Joanns are so concerned about $$$$ and selling you the most expensive item, it is like walking into a used car lot! When I inquired about service/repairs they basically blew me off. I went to a local quilters shop "Floyd & Lizzies" and they were far more helpful and reasonable.

I know my Joanns has limited use on thier coupons and they can't be used on any sale item which everything I want is a sale item! LOL They can't be used on any sewing machines, sergers, cricut items, furniture, any really big ticket item. Even the fabrics you have to make sure it isn't one that is on sale. It's a bummer! I once didn't realize it wasn't on all fabrics that are on sale which most are and it went towards 1 FQ at the check out, was I bummed!
