    i wanted that thread cutter too when i got my 835. the cost diff was about $300. for me, getting over that $1000 for a sewing machine just wasn't doable. my $5 snippers work just fine.

    I recently got the 875 and it was on "sale" for 2100 which included a $350 accessory package :)
