Waverly Decorator Fabric
Has anyone used a cotton Waverly drapery fabric for a quilt? I have extra pieces of blue/white toile fabric left from decorating my bedroom and would like to use it for the snowballs in a simple 9 patch and snowball quilt. It's a linen weave 100% cotton, not a chintz.
The queen sized quilt that I made about 8 years ago for my bed has one fabric that is beginning to wear throughout the quilt. I would like to make a new one fairly quickly before those pieces wear down to holes! Also, I don't want to spend much money or time because I hope to redecorate in 1-2 years. So, I need to use what I have.

I have used decorator fabric for a quilt back that I machine quilted. it worked fine and was just the right colour for the quilt. Since you are going to do snowball blocks, the decorator print should be fine as long as you don't plan on hand quilting it. I think it would be too hard to hand sew through?
