In the main hall there is a lady that sells metal templates (isle 500 I think but don't quote me on that). They are 1/4 inch outlines that you can use to cut and mark seams. She has good prices. The circle ruler was only three dollars and some odd cents. I bought a curve foot for my machine. I can't wait to use that. I didn't see too many fabrics that were stand out deals but I didn't really need any either. I did buy some coordinated fabrics on the second floor. They were 21.50 (about) for 8 fats. Not a great deal but I am color retarded and need that kind of help.

Oh and one of the big batting vendors had 24 inch batting sample packs for 5.00. perfect for the doll quilts.

Glad to hear I did not miss much. I am registered to attend 2 classes at the Hershey Quilt Show. I planned my summer visit with the kids around the date.

Will you be going this year? It would be fun to meet and maybe have lunch together.

Maybe there will be other forum members planning to go to Hershey? I am looking for a roommate to share a room at the Hershey inn for 2 nights - Thurs and Friday nights. Have classes planned on Thurs and Sat. so I can have Friday free to do the show. Plan to leave after the class on Sat.

Oh wait until you see this thing. It is a little palstic foot that will fit onto any machine. You have a concave and convex curve cut (like drunkards path) instead of fighting the outter curve (convex) peice into the inner curve (concave) you simply match the two ends together and lay them into the foot. Start to stitch then hold the outter curve peice up a bit and the foot will work them into perfect position while you sew the curve. No easing or cussing. and it is a perfect 1/4 inch.
