Use Google to search for images and/or animations. You might like this link for animations

Over 20 years ago, my husband named our dog Avatar. He said it was a character from the adult animated movie called Heavy Metal. LOL

Even tho I'm 68 I've played many computer RPG's (Role Playing Games) where I am the hero usually out searching the countryside for dragons, monsters and all round baddies. This person is known as the avatar so I always thought it meant a leader or hero. What does the dictionary say? (Too lazy to look it up)

Avatar: (according to Webster's New Collegiate dictionary)
1: the incarnation of a Hundu deity (as Vishnu)

2: a: an incarnation in human form b: an embodiment (as of a concept or philosophy) usually in a person

3: a variant phase or version of a continuing basic entity.

So you're right.. That hero you play is just a 'variant version' of YOU! Perhaps it's the real you and the smiling 68 year old is the variant version... perhaps?

You mean like those times I'm dying to pick up a sword and wale away? Thanks Judie!
