    i have 18 - 7" heart applique blocks..

any ideas? the girl i am making it for loves "hearts". i was thinking maybe a "warm Wishes" or a log cabin type, with the heart for the center..or make it the center of a star?

    any other idea out there?

Use them as the 4 corners of a D9P? Would have to watch orientation of blocks as you put them together to be sure they end up right side up!

I would do a regular checkerboard and pick a coordinating fabric to alternate with those.

I like the Disappearing 9 patch idea but I wouldn't want to have to pay attention to the orientations. But of course I'm not the one making the quilt :)

I saw this today when I was looking for D9P ideas. It is very cute with hearts. I am not sure if I linked it correctly though.

I would do a wonky log cabin. Since the hearts are offset a little wonky blocks around them would look good.

Perhaps border each of them, then make another block pattern for every other square. Cute blocks, thanks for sharing!
