    dimes are ten inch squares like layercakes
    nickles are five inch squares like charms and chips
    dessertrolls are five or sometimes six inch by width of fabric
    and crumbs are odd shaped leftovers that you just cannot part with

    I remember when charm squares were in all sizes, now the Moda people seem to have convinced everyone they have to be 5".
