Default What color would you choose?

I am starting the new Craftsy block of the month and have decided to use blue and green batiks from my stash. The only problem is I don't really want to use white for the background color. If you were making a BOM using blue and green tone batiks - what color other than white would you choose for a background color?

Black, another shade of the blue/and or green, one of the moddled colors. I would take them to you quilt shop and see if you find something that hits you and most of them are great to help you.

It would depend on how dark the green and blue fabrics are, if you are looking for a light.. I would be shopping for a cream with some hint of darker brown medium brown.

Gold, Red, Brown - all depends on how contrasty or blendy you want to get.

Ohhh, red is a good idea. I had been considering a yellow, but I love the idea of red. That could look really sharp and graphic with the blues and greens!

I am doing the Craftsy BOM also and enjoyed the first show. The blocks look easy and the instructions were good. I haven't done them yet because I am finishing up a quilt for DGD that was for Christmas. I think it will be a good course.
