Are they coming out as rectangles or as too-small squares? Either way, you seem to have a couple options:

    1) Make it creative! Add a 1/2" sashing between a pair of squares to get your quilt back on track. Or add 1/4" to the edge of your block. Or go really crazy & foundation piece wonky seams until your blocks are the intended size.
    2) Work out the math. Adjust your blocks to accommodate the smaller sized squares (if they're rectangles, square up first, then work with them). You may end up needing an extra row or column, or an extra border, but if you really love the fabrics, it's worth it to figure out how to work them in there.

I collect all scraps which I term these as until I have enough to fill a pillow for my dogs.

Cut them down to a uniform sized square and use them as a border for the quilt label on the back.

I would save them. They can be used to make "wonky" churn dash blocks. I do this "on purpose" to get wonky hst for kids quilts for charity.

Trim to next possible smaller size and make mug mats. Quick, inexpensive. Good pick-me-up gifts to have on hand for your friends and for yourself.

Feel so dumb....guess a nite's sleep helps! Got up at 7 this morning and put 2 blocks together and they were just fine. These senior moments don't help. The pattern I am working on is Walk About by Ann Lauer. I did get some ideas from you smart ladies and I thank you.As far as the photos I have a phone from the dark ages and it doesn't take pics
