I have got 2 tubs of upholestry swatches. I have a restore here that calls whenever they get some in. I get a huge bag for $5.00. I made a quilt out of the more cotton ones for my daughter but have the "textured" squares left of many prints and textures. I know some people make pillows with them, but has anyone ever tried to make handbags, totes or quilts with the heavier fabric? Would love some ideas or if someone could use them please let me know.

I wish I lived by you. I'd love to get a deal like that.

We had some of those. I wanted to make a quilt out of them. With my ADHD I really like the pressure of the blanket when I sleep.(covering with just a sheet is not even an option!) But we decided to sell them at a rummage sale. We did make a nice amount of money. But they would have made an awesome quilt!!

I used to get them from a furniture store when I still had the quilt store. We found they were to heavy for quilts, but, made really nice purses and totes. You are very lucky...enjoy.
