A lapquilt with a signature block expressing love and appreciation is a wonderful gift to someone so important. I've seen relatives embrace lapquilts from charitable strangers while terminal. Now, imagine what it would mean from a loved one.

And, don't forget to tell her *now* how much you appreciate her and what a positive influence she's been on your life.

Bless you for thinking of her. Foster parenting can be difficult. We often hear very little about the positives.

It would be nice if you could make her a memory lap quilt with pictures of you and your family.
Any kind of quilt you make will be a special thing to her. It would mean a lot to her. :D

wrapping up in a quilt while doing treatment means so much to those with cancer. She will love it!

Yes, make her a lap quilt. Each time she wraps up in it, remind her that its a warm hug from you. You were blessed to have such a wonderful foster mom.
