    Sunnyhope: I've used this pattern many times to make charity quilts. The pattern is EASY, quick and quite attractive. If you make it, rearrange the units to see the different patterns you can get. I've used
    6 1/2 inch plain blocks with the Rail Fence blocks and that turns out nice. I think you'll enjoy this pattern. Great for a beginner to use to gain some quilting confidence. Post pictures of whatever you end up making. We all LOVE pictures.

    I like this pattern and think the blues would be nice. Probably look good in any color. :D

    I will let you know when i start sewing its just that i need a proper ruler first as i only have a 4 inch template................

    Simple or not it's a very versatile pattern. Lots of opportunity for subtle or colorful fabrics. Would make a very nice gift pattern for just about anyone. Happy quilting.
