What do you do with your projects when complete? Mine are usually commissioned, but most are gifts given away.

So far gifts to give away. I am in the process of making a quilt for my bed. Who knows when I will ever finish that. I keep doing other projects like the swaps I find on here.

If I ever finish one :), it'll be a "keep". I *might* do gifts for family or good friends, but for the most part, I'm looking to make stuff I'll enjoy. :)

I have 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and two new ggc on the way. They all have a quilt I have made. I do have a few that I have made. My quilt club also does charity quilts often. Last week we made 35 pillow cases for children in hospitals.

Most are gifts and are made with the person in mind. I do occasionally make one for me. Those are also made with the person in mind!

Since I haven't even finished one yet, I'm still looking for quilts for my family, but I imagine that once I saturate our house, I'll be making them for gifts. Actually I do have an I Spy quilt planned for a friend.... oh, I need to get busy....

I have finished only one that I'd consider giving away, but it was my first with the quilting machine and I'll keep it. I have 11 grandchildren and I tell myself I'll make quilts and give each of them one when they marry or leave home. MIGHT -- they're growing fast! The oldest graduates this summer!!!!

We use ours. Every bed has at least two, and we keep some in the living room for spontaneous napping. The rest go to friends, babies, and are donated to worthy causes, and fund raisers.

I have made quilts for my grandbabies and DD uses them for DGS at naptime and bedtime. I have made several small lap quilts that we use in the living room. I keep quilts on the back of the furniture for the kitties to lay on.

Oldest DD wants a lap quilt for every holiday/season of the year. So far, I have Valentines and St. Patrick's Day done. Youngest DD just layers her quilts on the bed and sleeps under them.

I have made a couple that were given away as gifts to family and friends. Now I need to make DH a quilt.
