Default What to Make

I have been given this beautiful fabric and I'm not sure what to make out of it. It is in strips of 2 1/2" and 5". Any thoughts and suggestions would be sincerely appreciated.

I think it would be pretty done with the small squares and podunk posies that one of our members is working on. Her site is www.podunkpretties.blogspot.ca

I think it would make a beautiful strip quilt ... or maybe a colorful summer/beach bag. You might cut the strips in varying widths.

Seems that I remember a few videos on MSQC using both charms and 2.5" strips

What about an Irish chain? I did one with 5" squares and 9 patches. I can just see yours now with various colored squares and the colorful light fabric as the chain. Let us see what you eventually make ok?

I would cut the 5" into squares and use the 2-1/2" for sashes to match the 5" Squares and sew them all together. Would make a great scrappy quilt.

How much of it do you have? Looks like enough for a wall hanging or pillow cover.
