I just bought 80 Batik 5 inch blocks off ebay . Any suggestions for a beginner quilter ? I do have sewing experience and have done a couple Quilt in a Day quilts some fifteen or twenty years ago. The colors are in the purple blue range.

There are a slew of charm quilt patterns online. If you search for a charm quilt pattern, you'll find a lot to pick from.

The first one I thought of was the disapperaing 4 patch. It is impressive when it is done but is very easy to work up :)

Twister quilt. Small template uses 5" blocks. This is one of the easiest quilts to do. Sew blocks together in a grid, place template down, cut and sew back together. Looks much harder than it is. With pre-cut blocks you can get a quilt top done in a weekend. I love it!!
