we sure won't tell. LOL

seriously ... i think it would look nifty if you did that.
I thought of that, but thought it would be a huge disaster. Right now these three rows lay flat though curved. Not sure it would stay that way if I kept going.

I like it. I would try to figure out how to build around the curve.

Interesting dilemma. Perhaps it could be a piece to challenge yourself to design something with it as a beginning section. Or, you could 'punt' and start over. But, it would be good to figure out the reason for the curvature. Sometimes it is a cutting problem like being off-grain. Other times it is the stitching like stitching everything in the same direction.

I really can't tell if it is sewn to the black or not. If not, straighten it out by sewing it to straight strips the same length. Pin it to fit and sew it on.
If it is already sewn to the black, that needs to go. At least the "long" side. Then proceed as above.

I was thinking along the same lines. Sigh, thanks for sharing and you are not alone - we each have had our own problems.

if it's 3 strips of black then seam rip one side flip it and that should straighten it out. I might be missing. As far as the beer goes, hope you had a couple I would!!
