I have been reading the various threads on creating a display wall using a large cardboard box, and I am all excited to get mine done.

But what size do I need to make it? I figure it can sit in front of my closet here in my small room, and the closet area is pretty big. I have cardboard that is 65 inches by 65 inches. That will fit, but will that be too big and awkward?

Do I just lean it against the closet door, or do I try to create a fold or two, like the science fair boards? Would it stand up better if it was not square?

    Suggestions??? Answers?

I recently made my display boards with poster board from staples. I got the largest I could find. Covered it with flannel. Not the same colors of course then stapled all around the edges. This works just fine for me.

And it's portable too. Light as a feather, and it can go anywhere. I'll show a picture.

    My work in progress

Make it as big as you have room for. Mine is about 4x6, not big enough for everything. I would love to have one covering a whole wall, but that will have to wait.
