Were you reading my mind? I've been meaning to ask just the same!

Out of curiosity ... what is a crib mattress size?
if I'm wanting to make it big enough for there.

I make my baby quilts 54" x 54" or bigger. The last couple I have done were 62 x 62. I do this size so the baby can grow into the quilt. Most parents will not use a quilt in the actual crib anymore, found some parents are actually draping the quilt over the end of the crib or using it for a wallhanging. But, by making them larger, they can enjoy them for many, many years.

I don't really do a baby size. I usually do a lap size that way as baby grows the quilt can still be used.
