Ok, it's official....I said I wasn't going to post messages here anymore and now it's done. I'm always made to feel like a moron or an idiot. Seems like some take pride in putting others down and all I meant in my post was that perhaps the quilter could have her time to enjoy what she made. Not that the pattern wasn't public domain or others didn't have the right to make one like it. Be creative and think outside of the box was the point I was trying to make. Signing off for good!!
Sorry sorry sorry! I was in no way intending to hust your feelings. Hope you will accept my apology and continue to enjoy the board.

I posted one that was very similar last weekend named "Winter Magic". I know it isn't what you are looking for, but it is fairly close. Marge L.

[quote=janRN]The first one is a kit from Keepsake Quilting and I believe the second one is too (not 100%).
I wish when someone posts their pics they would give the name of the pattern and say if it's a kit.

I think it's important to give credit to the pattern designer too, especially if it's a purchased pattern.

The first quilt pattern is called Transitions from Cozy Quilt Designs. It's a strip club pattern for 2 1/2" strips. My Avatar is a picture of this pattern. I loved making it.

I've seen a pattern for the stars quilt - Scattered Stars, or something like that. Try googling "star quilts" - you may find it.
