"Imitation is the greatest form of flattery" Besides every quilt is a little different. I am sure the original quilter is glowing that so many people love her quilt and want to copy it in some form.

I sat "Amen" to that. If the pattern is out there, anyone can do it. They will never look the same anyway.

The first one looks like Transitions, by Cozy Quilt. Here is a link...

http://www.cozyquilt.com/Aspx/Produc...?productID=612

It also looks like the quilter used Hoffman Bali Pop's Cappuccino

Ok, it's official....I said I wasn't going to post messages here anymore and now it's done. I'm always made to feel like a moron or an idiot. Seems like some take pride in putting others down and all I meant in my post was that perhaps the quilter could have her time to enjoy what she made. Not that the pattern wasn't public domain or others didn't have the right to make one like it. Be creative and think outside of the box was the point I was trying to make. Signing off for good!!

fishhavengirl - don't go! I am sorry you were hurt. I am sure that wasn't intended. We all have something to offer to this board. We all have our opinions and it is really hard to sometimes say exactly what we mean online! Kind of like if a word is in all caps you are yelling.
