I am accumulating quite an assortment of corduroy- all medium wale- not the tiny and not the great big. I'm guessing it will have to be a scrappy, because they are just 1-2 yd. pcs. and an assortment of prints and solids. For the most part they coordinate. There may be a wild one in the bunch, I can't remember. But, if you have any ideas for a nice corduroy quilt I'd love to hear about it. I do like scrappies, by the way.

I wouldn't think you would want your pieces too small, and you seams may need to be 1/2 inch. The corduroy ones I have seen have been made with large squares or rectangles. I love corduroy quilts myself. Some of the regulars may have better advice.

I like the idea of bigger squares, too. That gives me someplace to start. Maybe someone will come up with a name of something. :-)

That's corduroy? I love rag quilts, but wasn't sure cord would work. What'd you use for backing? More cord? I like the look of yours! Thanks for sharing it.

I have seen some really beautiful corduroy quilts made with the drunkards path block at about 5 to 6 inches. You cut the round part with the nap going a different direction.

I made a rail fence out of corduroy and tied it.

I would think something similar to the denim quilts that some people make.
