What is your favorite quick & easy quilt pattern???
I need to make a few quilts & am tired of the quick ones I make, so I thought I would see what other people like to do in a hurry. Oh they are twin - full size quilts. Thanks & pictures would be nice too.

I love the Boxed Squares pattern the best. I have done it several times and it is always fun. The one I finished recently with the dolphins and waves stitched on it is that same pattern and it was loads of fun to do.

For those who are interested in making a chevron quilt the way irishrose describes, see the "rail fence" method:

Surprisingly I just did the merry go round by MSQC and it went together very quickly. I'm going to quilt it tomorrow and only started on Monday an had 3 days off from working on it. It also looks difficult. Msqc does a lot of quick projects mainly using pre cuts put for mine I cut lengths of fabric. The photo colours are not true it is purple.

The only quilt design I do use repeatedly - precisely because it is quick and easy - is made up of offset rectangles. So you can make the quilt any length or width you wish. You can mix fabrics or use one colorway. And every quilt looks different. Plus it's a great way to practice quilting designs.
