    In the 80s, I used lot of muslin but hardly use it any more. You really want to be able to feel the quality of the fabric.

    I only use muslin on wall hangings, as others have mentioned color and quality varies a lot. I am using up an old stash that I had when dressmaking. I also use to write my backing labels.
