Back when my son was around 13 (he's 35 now) he had these pads around the bars to protect the crotch in case they fell. Well his was in shreds and wanted me to make a new one in a "cool fabric", I covered the pads super easy with gray and black flannel, I had boys coming to me from far and wide asking to cover their pads as well. They chose the fabric, my son was so proud of me, and he became an important contact with his friends. ha

I made a cover for a golf club with 70 on for a friend of my father's. I had made his wife a bag which she took all around the Mediterranean on a cruise.

I made a duplicate of a vest my office gave out, embroidered logo and all, dressed a small bear to look like my boss, and made a golf bag out of a toilet paper roll and some vinyl. I did the clubs with a Dremel. He got the bear for Christmas, and his wife kept wanting to know where I got the golf bag. (He collects bears)

The other weirdie was a drool bib. The boss used to eye the college students who walked by, and I threatened him with a drool bib. I cartooned his face, digitized and embroidered it. That was another Xmas present. He loved both.
