I love this pattern! Can you tell me the name and designer?

Pam

Anytime I have to do a lot of ripping out I know it's time for a break. Sometimes that comes early in the evening & sometimes late in the evening.

Hi Pam,
The name of the pattern is Aztec Tumble and it is from Quiltmaker Magazine June 1993. It doesn't have the designers name.

Great quilt!!!Indeed, sometimes the need for a break kind of knocks us on the noggin.

Gosh, it sure took me a long time to find the mistake. It was not glaring. I felt like I was trying to find Waldo, and then it still didn't bother me. I was just trying to figure out how to "fix" it to look balanced without ripping out the blue. I love the pattern.

Took me a long time to find it too. Like KLO mentioned above, I'd make the next two rows match and call it part of the design. I too hate to rip. I think it is beautiful like it is.

Am I the only one not seeing the mistake??? Looks fabulously beautiful to me. Can't see a thing wrong with it!

I couldn't find it either, Prism.

But I guess we all have our own individual limits & there are probably things that would drive me crazy that others would never notice. I'm just happy if I actually get my fabric cut the correct size.

Not seeing an error? Maybe the final row of sashing doesn't follow the pattern? Really pretty!!!!

Beautiful pattern. Yep, it's time to take a break. I had a hard time seeing it also. Good spotting.
