I was seconds away from asking for something similar. I am really hoping you get some help on this.

I use EQ7 but that's not free! The only free I know is "Quilt Assistant":

Some help here. Select a pattern you'll get to choose the size and your colors for blocks or entire quilt patterns. There are also several programs to buy, I mostly use Foundation Factory which can be purchased on line: hundreds of blocks (of all techniques) you can print in any size. They also hve speial sales often on their programs. I will check the site and post the appropriate search term in a while - it's published by QuiltPro

Here you go! This one is just for regular blocks, You'll find all their stand-alone programs in the column on the left, all priced very reasonable. Their Block of the Day is free to suscribe, a new block is delevered to you by e-mail every day.

I am so glad you posted this. I knew about it a while ago and then lost track (or mind) and couldn't find it.

There's also that ruler trick, as described in Joen Wolfrom's book, "Make Any Block Any Size."

I am making 2 dozen mug rugs (17 done) for my friends and new neighbors. I took 9" block patterns and changed them into 6" blocks on my EQ5. With some patterns, I printed out paper piecing foundation.

Happened upon this post yesterday with two wonderful links:
    http://www.quiltingboard.com/blogs/t...or-b10213.html

One is free graph paper shapes to print out for paper piecing, the other is a quilting calculator.
