I used to watch Alex Anderson's "Simply Quilts" on HGTV a few years ago. They have taken it off the air. Are there other networks that show a quilting show and if so, what is the name(s) and the network(s) where it is shown??

Post here before indicate they are here and there and elsewhere and nowhere. One just has to search their local tv viewing area to find them.

You can get them on the internet at www.quilterstv.com (free) and www.qnn.com (membership) and The Quilt Show where Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims does a show similar to the old Simply Quilts. Some of this is free but the full service is membership.

Hi! I recently found Eleanor Burns' show on RFD and Fons and Porter on BYU. Don't know if you get those channels, but there's no telling how long they have been there and I have just found them. I've never been able to watch ANY quilt shows, so I have really enjoyed seeing them, even if they are old ones!

We have Direct TV and get RFD and BYU and my local PBS station use to have some on Saturday morning but I haven't looked in a long time. I agree that most everything is going online. And really with YOUTube and web sites you can pretty much find anything at any time time of day.

You can do a search for shows from your t.v. menu if you have direct t.v. and probably from the other companies as well. That's how I've found them. And they are getting mighty scarce.
