Okay, this is a really stupid question, but maybe one of you will suggest something that will jog my memory.

About a year ago I bought the pattern Yellow Brick Road, and I cannot find it anywhere. I think I have looked everywhere, but I have not found it, and I will be "darned" if I am going to go buy that pattern again.

I've only been quilting a little over a year, so it can't be too deep in my stuff. It doesn't seem to be in my stash, in any of my project baskets, in my bookcase, or in the dresser that I keep scraps in. It isn't even with my weight lifting books, which are in the same dresser.

I am not serious, of course, as no one can find this for me....but I guess I could use some ...I don't know what....advice, sympathy, harsh words, suggestions, or even "Suck it up and go buy another pattern!!" At the time I didn't think I would use the pattern, but I got some fabric for Christmas that I would like to use with it now.

Grumpy

Well, grumpy ... I'm almost assured it will be in the last place you look!

How about folded inside whatever fabric you had wanted to use it with in the first place? I sometimes fold the pattern with the fabric so I don't forget what I wanted to use it for.

You do realize of course your fuzzy butts are enjoying you looking all over the place, muttering about where it could be, bending, stretching, digging around....at least I'm sure they are amused.

Good luck to ya

Look behind the furniture or stuck in a book or magazine. The only thing I am sure of is if you buy another pattern the lost one will turn up. As old as the pattern is it should be on clearance somehwere.

Thanks, ladies, you make me feel better. Surely I can find this pattern. It must be stuck inside something else, or behind my bookcase. Or maybe one of my quilt inspectors took off with it.

You have inspired to to search again!

I was going to say its in a box with the material that you were going to use. It's already been mentioned. How about your quilting magazines? I am always bookmarking something? Better yet, stop looking for it and it will pop up. That always happens.

I lost mine and while looking for something else I found it in my pattern book, the book where store all my patterns in plastic sleeves. Who would of thought to look for a pattern in the pattern book!

I hope you find it, I guess now it is time to sort thru everything to try to find it and you might just find something else that you have forgot about

Good Luck
