Wanted to add that when I was trying to make a decision the first time I was making a mostly white quilt, I got the Craft Size packets of batting & made a couple of practice sandwiches so I could feel confident the batting wouldn't show through at all, or detract from the brightness of the white fabric. Sometimes you can even write to the Warm Companies & they will send you samples, or you can ask your local LA-er if she has any scraps.

The quilting does add to the weight; it compresses the layers & also adds in the weight of all that thread. W&P is 50% thicker than W&N.

I also love Quilters Dream white cotton. I have never used Warm and Natural so I can't compare it. Please note that QD has a Request weight which is lightweight and a Select weight which is a little thicker. Maybe Jan or someone else can tell you which one compares to warm and Natural.
