Default How should I quilt a shadow box quilt?

I have the shadow box quilt layered and all ready to quilt, but I can't figure out what to quilt on it.

I would like to quilt each rectangle with a pattern outline quilt the shadow, and have another pattern quilted in the sashing. Any suggestions on what patterns I should use.

Or, any other suggestions?

Thanks

Aileen

Thanks thimblebug. Seeing photos is helpful.

I tend to overcomplicate the FMQ aspect of the quilt. Just learning it, and because I'm not confident with it, tend to overcomplicate the whole process. I think your pointing out some photos has helped.
