Rhondals while you are stash building check out:

1) Handcock's of Paducah in the shop by price area. Their clearance fabrics start at $3.99/yd.
2) Also try Thousands of Bolts. They already have low prices on name brand fabrics but from time to time they do "flash" sales. You can always check out their end of bolt short end pieces by searching Find a fabric>Expanded search>Item number (type in SB). All of their short end pieces plus wide backing pieces are listed starting at $0.10/inch. I am always out there buying up all of the listed Bella solids.
3) Check out 5bucksayard. Their fabrics are mostly $5.00/yard and they go down to $2.99/yard.
4) Pink Chalk Fabrics is closing their fabric store so all of her fabrics are now 50% off.

Someone already mentioned Craftsy, Fat Quarter Shop and Quilt In A Day "flash" sales. Quilt In A Day just had a large clearance sale with fabrics from $1.00 to $3.00 a yard. Lots of places to do stash building on name brand fabrics at huge discounts. Sign up for all of their newsletters.

P.S. I do not know how close you are to Independence Mo but just checked Craigslist KC and there is a fabric store there going out of business. Fabrics are 75% off. It seems like their are lots of sales for fabric on Craigslist in your area. Check it out. There is 6 yd of Elvis fabric for $10. Lol

Rustic Yearnings have been closing forever. It's about 5 minutes away. I should drive over there and see what they had left. It's not my favorite store, but if it's on sale, and I need the color, grin and bear it...I wish I lived closer to Missouri Star. Maybe my work will send me to St. Joe for something.

Missouri Star Quilt co is an excursion trip as there is very little else in the town. Plan a day trip to drive there with some of your quilty friends.

That's why I'll hit it when my work sends me up north some day. i usually work from home, but from time to time, I go to St. Joe, Exceslsior Springs, St. Louis for a few weeks or Mexico, Mo for a couple of days. For now, I'll enjoy their videos, sales, and website. When Row by Row starts, I might do a shop excursion, though, even though they aren't on the list.

Havplenty, at Thousandsofbolts when it says "15 in piece" is that 15"x width of fabric or 15"x15"? Thanks!

A Thousand Bolts...I can't get away from the website. I think I'm ordering their Christmas lights kit.

I highly recommend www.fabric.com. They have the deal of the day and also weekly sales. I have been a customer with them for over 12 years....great service and free shipping on anything over $35.00. GREAT prices too.

Greenfairy quilts has daily specials; Missouri star quilt company, Southern Fabrics; Fat Quarter Shop; sometimes Bear Creek quilting company. Also, I check fabricshopperonline.com - they will show weekly sales usually on Saturday and if you look through their blog list on the right hand side of the page - look for flash sales among the blogs. One more is craft town fabrics and Pink Castle often has sales where you get 20 or 25% off with a code. I check blogs to get all the scoop on the new fabrics and sales.
