Why do we do it this way??? Ever wondered

I started doing stitch to the back, bring to the front and fancy stitch on the front on placemats and table runners. Liked it so much, I do all my quilts this way. It is stronger, quicker and adds a unique touch to the quilts. Most of mine are laps and baby size now. Haven't got the time anymore for large quilts or for hand quilting.

I sew it on to the top with 1/4 inch, then fold it over to the back, pin the heck out of it, and SitD on the front, being sure to catch the binding on the back.
To each their own! We all just need to do what works for us! :D
