I have a new neighbour. I invited her over for a cup of tea yesterday morning and she admired the pot holders that I had. Thought I would make her a couple as a housewarming gift. Small project, simple right? Started but could not for the life of me make the points match. Four tries for one point and several more for another. I wanted them to be perfect as they were a gift. Decided after 2 hours to leave it and try again this afternoon. All morning I thought about it and finally decided that if I didn't get it right after a couple of goes I would forget it. After all, she didn't know that I was making them. Sat down this afternoon and success first time! Woopee! Will finish them off tonight and give them to her tomorrow. Why is it some days......?????

If you find the answer to your question, be sure to let the rest of us know! After all, everything can't be attributed to hormones!! :-)

If it ever happens, i.e., a day where things go perfectly, I'll make note of my level of appreciation (after I pick myself up off the floor) and let you know! :-) :!:

I have read somewhere...do not ask me where, I do not remember :)... that after a specific amount of time, the brain actually switches from left to right sided thinking on an off the whole day. Don't know if this is true, but that is why if you are having trouble with math (measuring and cutting) switch to something that requires more of an artistic nature ( picking out colors) and then go back later and the math will come! It's odd, but I have found this to be true! I can spend an inordinately long period of time trying to figure out fabric amts. get exasperated, come back later and work it out, only to return later and wonder how the heck I did that! Of course I'm a lefty/ righty combo (do somethings left handed and other things right handed) so I think that may affect how I function at any given moment! LOL That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
