Would you like to make a small pouch to carry your tools, i.e., a 6" ruler, small scissors, pincushion, needles, pins, thimble, threads, threader, etc.? If anyone is interested, I feel confident I can give you directions to make same without being able to demonstrate.
I carry mine, stuffed full whether I am traveling or just bringing work from my sewing room. It makes me very portable as well as having everything together, pretty much ready to go. I had to replace my original one because it became just too worn.
Let me hear from you. Suzanne

Suz, what a nice offer. I would be very interested in the directions too. If it is simple enough, I would like to surprise my mom with one, she happens to be my mentor and my best sewing buddy. We take turns going to each other's homes to sew and it would be nice to take along my own kit.

Sounds like a great idea and since we travel frequently it would help immeasurably! Thank you for the kind offer.
