Several of you have asked for the woven heart quilt pattern after I displayed the photo. The current (August 2) BOM is similar to this one, which prompted me to display my version. I've made one for each of my granddaughters, and also for a baby quilt gift. It's fun and easy. For the pictured project I used scrap calico in pink and purple. I found the pattern in an old book, but can't locate it now, so I drew my own. I like to draw my own patterns, so I hope these rough sketches are adequate for you. Thanx for your interest. Sara

Since I can only put 3 photos at a time, see the next subject for the remaining instructions. S.

Thank you for taking the time to draw that out. I am going to make a few blocks today to add to the BOM sampler.

I love that pattern. My family is Swedish, and woven hearts have always been part of my life. I remember learning to weave them from construction paper when I was a little girl! Thanks for sharing!

    Thank you Sara,
Your quilt reminds me of a heart basket project we used to make with the students in school. Your quilt is beautiful!
Again, thanks for sharing your expertise here.
