We have 2 each year. One in April and another in October and it is at AmericInn at Silver City, MI. I will let you know when the date is. They will let us know at this retreat. I know there are ladies who come from southern WI and some from a bit farther. We usually are about 50 in the spring and 30/40 in the fall.

It is at AmericInn at Silver City, MI. Near the Porcupine Mts. The retreat really starts on Fri nite and ends on Sunday but they have been very gracious to our group and we are able to come anytime during the week, pay the extra for our room and have sewing room. These are your typical quilters, wonderful and so helpful. Such comradery and fun. Great food and great staff. Spoil us rotten.

I know how excited you must be--I have a retreat starting next thurs and going through Sunday--besides some great quilting buddies, my sister and daughter will be there. I've been thinking about which projects to take and realize I need to get some cutting done at home (I always screw up my cutting at retreats cause I'm visiting too much!)

Oh, I really want to come in the fall. There will still be some leaves, few or no other tourists. My only concern is possible snow. Haven't had to drive in snow for five years so probably don't know how. But then, I could fly into DSP, rent a car and drive over. Let me think......
