    Default Yellow Brick Road help

I sometimes have a hard time coordinating colors when doing more than 2 or 3; so I would like to ask for your help. I started out with the pink and green summer cloth, then added from them. Should I use all the pinks to the left of the starter, or should I include the red on the right? If I include the red on the right, then which pink should I eliminate? I am making a baby crib quilt, if that helps. Please help me!

If you have to eliminate one of the pinks, I would probably pick the lightest one, 2nd one in from the left. I really like that red in there and would definitely use it. That's going to be a nice quilt.

i would move both the red and the deep rose.... to the right... then the white floral is the far left and the candy pinks are next, pick 1st and 2nd... then multicolor green/pink, deep rose, and then red... but that's me...it's your quilt...whatever you do is right...

Well, that IS a hard question. I like the red on the right a lot with your fabric, so leave that in....or at least I would. Then I guess I would leave out one of the lightest pinks. With a yellow brick road, you probably want at least one light color, for contrast and all that....but, really, your quilt is going to be really cute, however you do it. Nice fabric!!

I would take the farthest to the left pink! Great choices though! and you could still use that pink for binding or backing!

I like the red. I'd take out the two next to the red. They're too much the same scale and print. I'd add in a lime green.

re: lime.... great idea, but remember, all colors are not equal... the tiniest flange border would probably be enough green but it would really add to the overall look of the quilt.

I love the idea of adding in the Lime Green. I also agree to take out one of the pinks and leave the red in the quilt top. If you do not want to add a Lime Green in with the pinks and red, at the very least add a small boarder with it. It would add so much to the top. Can not wait to see what choices you come up with.
