Have made several, some I quilt, others I don't. Depends on how fast I want it finished and if the fabric looks like it needs it. Good luck, but you need to know that these are extemely addictive.

Thanks I have noticed that most of you gals make several...
I also bought enough fabric to make a matching large tote bag. We are going on vacation to Aruba in Feb and I wanted to have a matching set....
I got some really cute beachy/summer looking fabric.

I like the look and feel of the quilted bag. Just my preference, I always quilt smaller on the outside of the bag and just larger cross hatching on the lining.

Yes and once you make one, you will definitely be making more....Be prepared to put other projects on hold for a while!!

I just bought the mini bow tuck, was very disappointed with the instructions. Lazy girl has a great one thats called the Margo that I like better, it too has the inside pockets like the bow tucks and 4 outside pockets.

You don't have to, but it does add a nice element to the bag.....especially for the pocket.

Mine are quilted. I think it gives the bag more body, rather than just slumping down the fabric is more firm.
