Default Opinions re size of FMQ

I have just completed FMQing a quilt and now I am not sure that I did the right thing. On the side with the Purple, Green and Magenta color blocks I FMQed very small designs, on the other side I used a large stipple. The quilt seems to hang okay, and I am not contemplating taking out any stitches, but I am wondering if this is not the way it is usually done. Any opinions? Thanks

I usually try to get the quilting somewhat consistently spaced over a quilt. If I start it intense, I try to do the whole thing that way or vice versa. There are exceptions to that though, sometimes on a more original or art quilt, I let the spaces suggest their own quilting. If it hangs well, is not uneven and you like it, why does it matter? I am sure there is a judge somewhere that will have something to say but don't listen to the quilt police!

I agree with what Tartan said.
